Mario J. Papa, Esq.
Mario concentrates his practice in the following legal disciplines: corporation and commercial law, mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, business entity structuring, commercial financing, estate and trust planning, probate law and estate administration.
Mario has extensive experience counseling closely held businesses, complex business transactions and structuring acquisitions. Mario has developed a niche practice in counseling business owners in succession planning including restructuring and financing business entities and the integration of succession plans with overall estate plans.
Mario’s estate planning practice consists of counseling individuals in estate planning and administration, including use of trusts, the creation of private foundations, charitable remainder and charitable lead trusts, and family limited partnerships.
Mario is the former judge of the City of Gloversville (1984-92). Prior to practicing law in upstate New York, he worked with international certified public accounting firm Ernst and Young in New York City as a tax consultant.

Kathy's paralegal career spans from the early 1980's working for a large financial consulting firm, accounting firm and law firm in Albany, NY. Since 1986, Kathy has specialized as an Estate and Trust paralegal assisting in the planning and administration of thousands of estates and trusts. For the past 23 years, Kathy has been a paralegal in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group of Hodgson Russ LLP, assisting high net worth individuals with their estate plans.
Kathy has been the Executive Director of the Dominic Ferraioli Foundation, a Private Foundation which assists charities in the Capital District region, since it's formation in 2001.
Kathy earned an A.A.S. ,with high honors, in Paralegal Studies from SUNY Schenectady and a B.S., summa cum laude, in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Finance and Information Technology Management from UAlbany.
